Nine Teams wager "$250,000 each as they tee it up in a Two-Man “Gambler’s Rules” Team Best Ball. Besides Doyle and Dewey, be sure to watch for special celebrity guests and caddies as they wager, advise, encourage, and console our high stakes gamblers.

Rules - Best Ball Format

  1. USGA Golf Rules are in effect for all shots hit out of bounds or into a hazard.
  2. No Handicaps will be used.  Players will be assigned tee boxes based on ability and to make all players equal.
  3. Clubs:  
    1. There is not a 14-club limit.
    2.  A golfer may use any number of clubs. 
    3. All clubs are legal.
  1. Balls:   
    1. Any types of golf balls are legal.
    2. A different ball may be used on every hole.
    3. The same ball must be used from Tee to Green.
    4. Balls may be changed once the player’s ball reaches the green of the hole being played.
    5. Once the ball reaches the green of the hole being played, the ball may be lifted and cleaned.
    6. The player may not touch their ball anywhere until the ball safely reaches the green of the whole being played.
    7. A one-stroke penalty will be assessed to any player who touches their ball anyplace other than on the green of the hole being played.
    8. The golf rules committee will allow wooden tees to be placed underneath a golf ball for designated players until the putting green is reached.
  1. Putting
    1. All putts must be holed.  There will be no gimmes.
    2. Flags may remain in the hole while a player is putting.
    3. The furthest ball from the hole must be putted.
    4. Any type of putter may be used.
    5. Any putting style may be used by the player, with the exception of the stroke used in billiards.
  1. Caddies
    1. One caddie per player.

Caddies may line-up up their player or read a player’s putt.  The caddie must move away during the player’s stroke.
