Chip Reese
| Considered by many to be the greatest high stakes cash game poker player in the world. By virtue of his outstanding skill, Chip became one of the most well regarded players in pro poker. He has often played with Doyle Brunson, Billy Baldwin, Lyle Berman, and other greats, frequently participating in games where the stakes are in the seven figures, at least. No less a figure than Jack Binion has said of Chip: "He's the premier poker player in the world right now...Since turning pro [about] 29 years ago, the Dartmouth grad has consistently managed to remain among the highest rollers." When asked when he might consider quitting, David “Chip” Reese has been quoted as replying, “I’ll stop playing at my funeral, and only God knows what I’ll do after that.” |
