Barry Greenstein
| Barry Greenstein was born and raised in the Scottsdale neighborhood of Chicago. His father was a grammar school principal who taught him to play at a tender age; by the time he was a teen, Barry was making about $50 per night at home games. Barry wins big at professional poker, part of the motivation is contributing some of his winnings to various charities. He gives every dollar of his tournament poker profits to a variety of charitable organizations; particularly dear to his heart is Children, Inc. Some call him "The Robin Hood of Poker.” Barry’s desire to do good for the world's poor wouldn't come to much if he couldn't produce at the table. As it happens, pros who know him tend to agree that he is one of the greatest players. |
