 HSE was formed out of a concept to bring new life and energy to existing sports programming. With the corporatization of sports, fewer and fewer “personalities” have emerged to capture our imagination.
HSE wants to create programming that provides a glimpse into the real world of gambling and sports, a snapshot into a phenomenon that takes place every single day in every sport somewhere around the world. The first sport of focus will be golf.
World-class gambling golfers will play 18 holes of golf for more money than on any single golf event on any professional tour in the world. Not only do they play for the biggest paycheck in professional golf, these golfers play with and for their own money. No corporate sponsorship, no sweetheart endorsement deal, nothing but balls and talent between them and the bragging rights of a lifetime.
Every high-end casino in Vegas has big-time golf gamblers. These guys are flown in to play golf regularly either because they are high rollers themselves or because some other high rollers want big action on the course. These golfers routinely play for houses, cars, and up to a million dollars per round of golf. They are as diverse as they come – a gentle Irishman, a New Jersey loudmouth, a smooth Vegas local, an ex-tour player. The one thing they all have in common however, is the smell of money and the need to risk it all against anyone with the nerve to step onto the first tee.
